George, a farm labourer, lived on Southport Road, Lydiate. His parents were George and Sarah Allin. He had three brothers and two sisters. Private Allin served with the 13th Battalion The King’s Regiment (Liverpool). He is buried at Forenville Military Cemetery, France.
